Whether or not you need to have your muscles re-approximated in the midline as part of the procedure or just have skin and fat removed can be determined during your examination. Theoretically, once you have stopped taking your pain medication you should be able to drive. Of course everything depends on your own level of residual discomfort when sitting upright and using your arms. I would definitely recommend that even if you do feel good enough to drive take it slow and don't overdo it for the first couple of weeks after surgery.

It's totally normal to have postoperative pain, swelling and a feeling of tightness for several weeks if not longer after a breast augmentation. Your recovery should speed up with each passing day. It does appear from the angle of the photo taken that the implants are sitting slightly high on your chest. Are you wearing a Breast Band to help push the implants down??? Your PS should also instruct you as how you should perform displacement exercises to move the implants...

Even at that point, if you are continuing to lose weight it may be beneficial to wait even longer. Overall, the results of your surgery are good with only slight asymmetry noted between the breasts. The scars will continue to improve with time and truthfully, your breasts already meet at the sternum so that the best way to get more cleavage would be to wear a push up bra. Three weeks after surgery is way too early to determine if you needed (or will need) a lift. At this point, you should be concentrating on pushing the implants down with a Breast Band (24/7) and performing displacement exercises to the same end.Follow-up with your Plastic Surgeon and if all that doesn't work to improve your situation, he/she will discuss the various options with you.

Silicone gel implants are definitely preferable although you can get an excellent result with saline implants as well if the procedure is done correctly. Overall, you have attractive breasts so if you pick the right implant and they are positioned to improve the space between your breasts, your breasts should not be saggy and look much more symmetric. Just be aware, that small differences between the breasts will always exist although your overall look will be greatly enhanced!
