Thanks for your question. Having been in practice for 25+ years in Memphis that is an easy question for me. No you should not go abroad ,. There will be no doctor  to see you in follow up. A mommy make over is a very big deal and you will need months of good follow up with a Plastic Surgeon. Think of building a house,and once the project is completed you can never see the builder again. I personally do not think an implant will make you happy. Your breast is stretched out and the only way to achieve a beautiful result is a Mastopexy and an Implant . Wishing you all the best. Yes you do have much more bruising than I see in my practice. Did you only have an implant ,or did they do any fat grafting? Also where were your incisions made. I would see the Plastic Surgeon very soon and let them determine if there is a problem. also you have the majority of your implement above the nipple line so make sure your surgeon addresses this issue with you. All the best.

After reviewing your photos ,I feel as if you are a perfect patient for this procedure. Your surgeon should hit a home run for you. As far as post op pain management, I would ask your surgeon to use the 72 hour Marcaine . Also start Arnica Montana 3 days before and up to 7 days after to help with bruising and swelling. Wishing you the best on your upcoming operation. Yes you will need the 4 weeks to recover.

After studying your photos ,my advise is this . You need both ,I'm sorry to say. YOu will not be happy with an implant only, as your skin will fall over your implant. Trust me ,you will not be happy. Therefore you will need the lift to center the nipple on the new breast mound.     When you go for consultations ,make sure the surgeon feels very comfortable with performing both procedures on you. Looking at your photos ,it appears to me that "bruised skin" is actually skin that is struggling for blood supply. Recommend that if your a smoker ,stop at once. Also looks like your P;attic Surgeon has outlined the troubled area of skin,so stay close to his/her clinic and let them watch the area very closely. It will not hurt to start Arnica Montana for this area. All the best.

Congrats on your decision to have your "Mommy Makeover". The short answer to your question is YES your scars will flatten out and improve. This process is called "scar maturation". It takes the usual adult about 8-12 months to occur. This is why Plastic Surgeons follow patients for at least one year.   Would allow your body to heal for 2-3 more weeks ,and then apply mederma for 8 weeks. Then you can use silicon strips to help flatten your scars. Hope this helps,but best advise is be patient.

So sorry to hear of your rib pain. Having done this operation for years, I do not hear of this post op problem. How long ago was your surgery? If no lipo was done ,I would call my surgeon and ask for a post op visit today. I'm sure it is nothing ,but these issues always need to be confronted immediately. Wishing you the best.

I understand you problem. First of all, there are no photos.So I will take your word ,that you are skinny as you said.If that is true ,don't do lipo as it will not improve your looks and it will not tighten your skin. In other words ,you will be wasting your money. If a surgeon can evaluate your lower abdomen in your bottom bathing suit ,they can tailor your incision to not show in your bathing suit. To answer your question directly ,Yes they are still swollen. From your pre op photos ,your breast look to be a small A cup,and you had very tight skin. Having done extensive breast  augmentations for 25 + it is not uncommon for this post op look. Would ask your surgeon about post op exercises to stretch out the lower portion of your breast{lower pole} to allow the implant to fall into a better position. The final result should be a 50/50 look where the distance from nipple to breast crease...

Very hard to tell from the photos you posted. I recommend a board certified Plastic Surgeon evaluate your breast and give you a consultation concerning your issues. If the plastic surgeon feels any suspicious lumps they will refer to a brest surgeon for work up. Wishing you the best from Memphis.

From your photos ,I believe your best option is Breast Lift and a small reduction.It appears you have plenty of volume and you just need the breast put back into the "normal" position based on your height. Yes your photos do show aymmetry of your breast. The best position of an implant is directly behind the Nipple area. Meaning you get a equal distance of breast tissue above the nipple and equal distance of breast tissue below the nipple. IN other words you achieve a Ratio of 50/50. Your inferior pocket needs to be dropped at least 1-2 cm's which will allow your implant to "fall " and become more centered behind your nipple. As the implant drops ,the nipple areolar will be lifted . Good luck...
