He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine for his medical degree, and completed both of his residencies for general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch.

Throughout his over 18-year career, Dr. Chang has been the author of many award-winning articles and publications. He has also been awarded with a number of prestigious honors, including the Vitals Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition, Top Beauty Doctor by NewBeauty, and Healthgrades Honor Roll Award.

Dr. Chang is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
