Roger Yonce

Years experience: 5
Biography: I’d like to introduce myself. I am a South Carolina Native. I started my nursing career in the ICU and worked full-time as a Critical Care RN up until August 2021. In 2018, an incredible opportunity arose for me to begin working part time for a plastic surgery practice as an aesthetic nurse injector. As my skill set with injectables expanded, so did my passion for aesthetics. In May of 2021, I relocated to Chattanooga to begin a new chapter in life with my now fiancé Jacob Wilburn. For me the best part of working in aesthetics are the connections I’ve made with my clients. Having someone trust me with the appearance of their face isn’t something I take lightly. But the ability of being able to correct client’s concerns and being able to put a smile on their face. That’s what I love about an aesthetic nurse injector. I am so proud to now be a part of the Southern Surigcal Arts team and looking forward to meet you all!

Answer Snippet
Is 485cc too much?
Implant size
Dec 2, 2023
With 25+ years of experience under my belt I will tell you that proportionally for your frame 485cc implants are too large long term. This is my opinion. If you are looking for implants to compliment your body especially when your proportions will be changing from your tummy tuck, you may want to consider resizing to s smaller implant.
Gallbladder and diastasis recti issues. Can this prevent me from getting a tummy tuck? Should I do the TT
Two separate issues
Dec 1, 2023
These are two completely different issues that should be addressed separately. And the gallbladder absolutely be addressed first. Hopefully they can fix this laparoscopically. If you end up with a large right upper quadrant abdomen scar from a gallbladder removal, it can affect the ability to do a safe tummy tuck. Once you were well, healed and symptom-free, then I would advise the diastasis repaired with the tummy tuck.
Exilis before Vaser liposuction?
Vaser Lipocontouring
Nov 5, 2023
Yes… you should be fine to have vaser liposuction performed. Of course your chosen surgeon needs to know your history and will evaluate you on exam to make sure you have no structural abnormalities.
Do I need a neck lift? Is there another procedure that would tighten this skin?
Neck wrinkles
Nov 5, 2023
The skin laxity that bariatric weight loss patients experience is different than normal skin laxity. Procedures such as Renuvion would help improve tone, texture and tightening a bit but, surgical options such as a neck lift may also have to be explored.
Alar Cinch Suture Ruined my Smile. What To Do?
Alar Stitch
Nov 5, 2023
If the only thing you had was a stitch… this can be removed by your surgeon and your smile and appearance should return to normal within a week or so.
