By his junior year at Yale, he had consequently changed his major to pre-med and his focus to neuroscience. Graduating summa cum laude, he was awarded a Regents Scholarship for academic excellence at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He then completed his residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, devoting two years to full-time research in plastic surgery. This ultimately led to his selection for the plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, widely regarded as one of the specialty’s premier programs.

As an expert in plastic surgery, Dr. Schwartz is adept in performing a wide variety of cosmetic procedures.
