I’m starting to see a lot of patients like you now. This is one of the downsides of the procedure in the context of an unhealthy lifestyle, poor diet and lack of exercise. With weight gain, the buttocks will mushroom. That’s why a more conservative approach is best. Targeted and precise liposuction can be used to reverse this along with downsizing your implants or just removing them. Good luck.

The risks of fat embolism, and overall risk is essentially the same. The risk of aesthetic complications is even higher because of the scar tissue and lack of fat present. It takes precision and experience with revisions. Find a surgeon who has that.
