This is a very common question. Photos don’t really allow for a full assessment. Go to at least one, but better two, in-person consultations with board-certified plastic surgeons, who do both mini and full tummy tucks. I am sorry to inform you that it extremely unlikely that any insurer would cover an inner (or medial) thigh lift. It is a very good procedure if done by the right surgeon, specifically a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in patients with significant weight loss. However, it is elective cosmetic surgery and not covered by insurance.

Who is recommending your plastic surgeon? I would talk to a trusted friend and see her result. Those prices do seem high. Having your own suite can actually drive costs up. You might want to shop around a bit more. Don’t look for the cheapest price, but rather, the surgeon with whom you feel most comfortable.

Get a few more opinions. I do not recommend finding the cheapest plastic surgeon, nor is the most expensive necessarily the best. The price you quote is quite high. You should be comfortable with your surgeon and look at photos of his/her own patients.  Good Luck.

Yes, liposuction alone works, but you need to be fully evaluated. With an exam, we can determine if there is significant glandular tissue that would look more prominent after liposuction. That said, in my experience, many men have been able to get a good result from liposuction alone.

I agree with all the other opinions. The surgery should take about and hour. If I was you I’d get a second opinion from another surgeon certified by the AMERICAN BOARD OF PLASTIC SURGERY. You can find one in your area. Three hours seems way too long, unless he/she wants you to "hang around" after the surgery to observe you prior to going home. I read your comment at the bottom, and you don’t seem very confident in this surgeon, find another one.

Botox is usually charged by the unit. In our area, the average cost is $13 to $17 per unit. That being said, we are running a special of $11 per unit. Be very careful who you go to for the injection. As long as you want the eyelashes to get thicker, longer and fuller, then latisse may be just what you are looking for. But be patient, it takes 3 months to work.
