Dear lady, your surgeon probably refers to the relaxation living tissues always undergo after having been put under tension. The first few weeks the situation usually is excessively tight, which relaxes down to a normal situation, if performed correctly.Good luck 🙂

Dear Valerie Marie, although there are some predisposing factors independent from the implant such as haematoma or dormant infection, the chances for you to develop a contracture are exactly the same as after the first operation.

The only implants which have a significantly lower CC rate are the ones with a coating of polyurethane foam. I know that unfortunately these are not available anymore in the USA, although they were used extensively in the nineties.

Dear lady,

it looks indeed like you’re a good candidate for a tummy tuck, although there seems not to be a tremendous amount of skin excess. This means that if your surgeon wants to eliminate all the stretch marks below your belly button, there is a chance the scar will come quite high above your pubis.

Make sure you discuss this with your surgeon before the surgery to avoid disappointment.

it is not uncommon for the lips to swell quite impressively after a hyaluronic acid injection. This is probably mostly due to the trauma of the injection and should go away in a few days.

If after a week the lips are still grossly swollen, go see your doctor, he knows what he has done.

If worst comes to worse hyaluronic acid can always be neutralized with hyaluronidase.

You need to know that bigger implants

weigh more (possible discomfort when running)

are more likely to result in ptosis (hanging)

are more likely to give decreased sensitivity

distort the natural breast shape more

make you look “bigger”
