Thank you for your question about the permanence of a Botox effect. The effect you are describing is actually the effect of areas that were not treated. The untreated or minimally treated areas apparently still have movement and they are the ones lifting your skin to give you the Spock appearance. Botox, as with the others in the same family of relaxers, such as Dysport, Xeomin and Juveau irreversibly binds to the muscles it is placed in or near within 15-45 minutes.
