What is the best non surgical treatment to have for my horrible crepe neck and chest? (Ph
Don’t write off Profhilo just yet and have you tried collagen induction therapy
Mar 19, 2021
First of all don’t worry too much about the weight gain although avoid cycles of lots of weight gain and weight loss as that will negatively impact the skin. In terms of the crepeyness on the neck and chest, Profhilo usually works very well in these areas but 3 courses of Profhilo 4-6 weeks apart are needed. If that didn’t help as much as you were hoping, collagen induction therapy (using chemical peel followed by microneedling) could also be a good option but again a course of at least 3-5…
I’m a 33 year old Male, in the last few years have developed some mid face sag making me
Dermal fillers can be good for rejuvenating the under eye area and treating midface volume loss
Mar 19, 2021
Midface volume loss is a very common complaint particularly in people in their 30s onwards. From your photo this looks like its flattened your cheeks and caused some nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds). Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers (particularly Juvederm Voluma and Volift) can help restore volume to the midface. These fillers are normally injected into the cheeks to help lift the midface and reduce the flattening as well as to smooth the folds by the nose. This can also help improve the…
How can I get rid of neck lines?
A combination of treatments maybe needed…
Mar 19, 2021
Horizontal lines on the neck are super common and one of the most asked about aesthetic procedures. These wrinkles are deep and in someone with a young neck like yours there are a few options. Dermal fillers such as Juvederm or Belotero can help fill the lines in but usually something like Profhilo or microneedling are needed to help stimulate collagen production under the skin to reduce the depth o the wrinkles and boost the effect of the filler. Chemical peels can also help exfoliate the…
8 days after microneedling my skin is still red and there is also an intermittent mild it
Seek medical help
Mar 10, 2019
Its unusual to have these symptoms several days after microneedling. Although we sometimes see some resolving redness after a few days, we don’t expect to see it worse and certainly not to have itching or swelling. Whilst it could be that your skin is irritated from the serums used, the fact that you have redness, swelling and itching 8 days after the procedure warrants further investigation. You can’t rule out a superficial skin infection (cellulitis) and so you should see a medical…
Would a peel be beneficial to get rid of the dryness and flakes on my hands?
Possibly but find out the cause first…
Mar 10, 2019
Before trying any treatments, if you haven’t already, its worth seeing a dermatologist to check that this dry flakey skin isn’t due to a skin condition like eczema for example. If there isn’t an obvious medical reason, then firstly see if there is anything in your work or home environment that isn’t causing this or making it worse. Common causes maybe due to repeated exposure to detergents or chemicals or frequent hand washing so ensure you protect your hands when working with irritants…
My lips are asymmetrical, what can be done about this, please?
Lip fillers for asymmetry, reshaping and volume
Mar 10, 2019
Hi there, first of all its completely normal to have a degree of lip asymmetry. There are a few solutions that can help with lip asymmetry that most obvious is lip fillers. Hyaluronic acid lip fillers can be used to reshape, define and naturally increase the size of thin lips. They can also be used to improve asymmetry though of course 100% symmetry can’t be guaranteed. In experienced hands the result can be personalised so that it looks very subtle and natural. For more info on lip fillers…
Bump in Chin Two Weeks After Botox, should I wait it out or see my doctor?
Keep calm and see your injector
Jan 9, 2018
Thank you for your question and I’m sorry you’re experiencing these effects. Botox injections work by relaxing muscles and the peek effect is usually seen at 2-3 weeks after injection. As previously mentioned, even with the greatest care the Botox can sometimes migrate to affect nearby muscles (in your case this may possibly be the lower lip muscle). The lump maybe that the part of the muscle that wasn’t relaxed completely is still contracting and hence casing a bump or it could be something…
