Which implant size would help me achieve a natural looking D cup?
Implant Size
Aug 23, 2023
Without knowing your height, weight etc, it would be difficult to say if a 240cc implant will get you to a “D” cup. We use a pre-op sizing process that helps patients visualize what they may look like after surgery. This allows to like what they see rather than focus on a cup size.
Best wishes.

I’m looking to go as large as I can, can I get implants without a lift?
Implants without a Lift
Aug 23, 2023
Thanks for the helpful photos. You can get a breast augmentation without implants if you wish. The larger the implants the more fullness you will achieve. You will still have some sagginess but can be corrected in the future with a breast lift.
Best wishes.
Dr. Gervais
Is 12 hours too long for surgery?
12 Hours Is Too Long!
Feb 13, 2021
Dear Jenn, Yes, 12 hours is too long for outpatient surgery. Complication rates go up after 6 hours in the OR. Unless there is something unique about your particular case, those two procedures generally do not take 12 hours to complete. If you require that amount of time, then yes, split them up. Maybe another consultation or two with another BC/PS will help clarify this for you. Best wishes, Dr. Gervais
I’m a trans woman with a decent amount of natural breast tissue—would low-profile implants work
Best Breast Implant Profile For Me
Feb 13, 2021
Dear SourMapes, Many factors go into choosing implant profile for breast augmentation. During the consultation we evaluate each patient’s breast size (width, volume, spacial distance between breasts, symmetry, etc) chest wall dimensions and height and weight. We then discuss expectations and what the patient desires. We then come up with a plan that best meets all these factors. I think that many trans women ask for or receive HP implants because many do not have as much natural tissue to…
Which FTM top surgery options would work for me?
Best top surgery choice for your anatomy is double incision and nipple/areola reductions and grafting.
Oct 31, 2020
Your breasts are small, but not small enough for periareolar (keyhole) surgery to work; plus, your areolas (and nipples) are too large. Removal of the nipple/areola complexes and “just going without” will leave your chest looking abnormal-enough that you will likely be self-conscious about your appearance, limiting your ability to ever remove your shirt, wear swim trunks without a t-shirt, or feel comfortable in a locker room. Trust me on this! Keep your parts, just reduce the nipple and…
