How Can I Get A Better Butt?

The two acceptable and safe methods of achieving a larger, more rounded and shapely buttock contour are Brazilian Butt Lifting and placement of implants.

While implants do work well, I would always prefer to achieve a woman’s goals through Brazilian Butt Lifting if possible.

This is because this procedure allows for removal of fat from areas of the body in which it is producing an unfavorable contour, and placement of that fat into the buttocks for increased size, projection, and/or a better shape.

In other words, the buttocks don’t HAVE to be made larger, and some of my happiest patients were those who just wanted (and achieved) a better shape to their butt.

By redistributing fat in this fashion, the appearance of the whole body (and not just the butt) improves permanently (as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle).

This procedure is indeed surgery, and should not be taken lightly, but for healthy individuals it has a very favorable benefit to risk ratio.

I would recommend you find a surgeon certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery who has a lot of experience with this procedure (as it is very technique dependent) and discuss your goals with them. (Armando Soto, MD, FACS, Orlando Plastic Surgeon)

Shapely buttocks, calves and chests not only look great, but they can also increase one’s self-esteem.

Body contouring implants can help you achieve smooth contours in areas that are not symmetrical, not well developed or have lost volume as part of the natural aging process.

Results are permanent and extremely natural-looking. (William J. Hedden, MD, Birmingham Plastic Surgeon)

Need a plastic surgery for bigger butt?

The NEED for plastic surgery is your decision. The plastic surgeon can explain all the options available for you and the pros and cons of each procedure or method. Depending on your body constitution and your desires options are presented to you and the best option according to how much fat you have where the fat is/ and deired look.

You have three options: FAT TRANSFER, DERMIS FAT GRAFT, and IMPLANTS. (Samir Shureih, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

Brazilian Butt Lift: Larger fuller rounder buttock

A rounder fuller buttocks can be obtained through exercise emphazing gluteal strengthening. However, the typical patient is unable to achieve this with conventional methods and seeks buttock enhancement using implants or fat injections. (Otto Joseph Placik, MD, Chicago Plastic Surgeon)

Get Brazilian Butt Lift for bigger butt

From my experience of performing both buttocks implants and the Brazilian Buttocks Lift over the past 12 years, there is no question. The Brazilian will provide a much more natural feel and shape than implants. It is also a much safer procedure.

I have done several hundred Brazilian Butt Lift procedures with virtually zero complications and about a 20% complication rate with buttocks implants. The Brazilian is by far a much better and safer procedure in my hands. (Daniel P. Markmann, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

I would categorically say no to buttock implants

Let’s face it, there are many areas in the body that can reasonably tolerate an implant. Buttocks are not one of them! If you were to spend > 50% of your time laying on your breasts, I would say breast implants would not be tolerated either.

As plastic surgeons, in our enthusiasm to satisfy patients’ desires, we have lost track of logic! I have performed fat grafting to buttocks for enlargement or enhancement with very good outcome.

Overall survival at 1 year seems to be around 50% which is quite good especially if you consider a bit of overcorrection.

Once the fat cells become re-incorporated into the body, they become a natural part of the patient. No shifting, no palpability, not capsule, etc. The challenge with fat grafting rests with technique and judgement. (Reza Nabavian, MD, Santa Monica Plastic Surgeon)
