It is always nice to see before photos to fully assess your result. You appear to have a nice shape and the scars are healing well. Remember it takes a full year for scars to settle down. Having proper communication both preoperatively and postoperatively is crucial for patient satisfaction post op. How much weight would I have to gain to do fat transfer to make my hips bigger?

I do not typically counsel my patients to gain much weight prior to BBL. You are very athletic and have an athletic frame so we are limited with the amount of fat available for you. An in person examination is needed to look at your entire body to see where we can take fat. Sometimes just with liposuction to your waist we can make your hips appear curvier. Go on some consultations with board certified plastic surgeons who can show you BBL results on petite patients. Good luck!

You could certainly be describing a capsular contracture or this implant could perhaps be under the muscle and you are experiencing animation deformity. An in person consultation is necessary to properly diagnose what is going on. Best wishes.

Everyone's preop anatomy is different to start so it is hard to truly comment effectively with not seeing your prep photos and not seeing you in person. There are likely several options for you at this time; fat only, implants, or flap surgery. I perform all of these options. If you have enough donor site tissue, then autologous tissue reconstruction likely could be your best option. If you could benefit from a tummy tuck, then a DIEP flap could be a nice option. Other areas we take tissue from are the thighs and the buttocks (my least favorite option). Talk with a plastic surgeon who specializes in both implant and autologous tissue reconstruction so that you can get an unbiased recommendation which fits your body and lifestyle. I never tell my patients that gummy bear implants do not ripple. All implants have folds but highly cohesive gummy bear implants have the least amount of rippling. You may be a candidate to undergo breast fat grafting now which can potentially help build up the tissue to reduce your rippling. Best wishes.
