Thank you for your question. I can answer this based on my thirty years experience. Most plastic surgeons do use dissolvable sutures for internal repairs. They dissolve in 10-30 days depending upon which suture material is used. The stitches are not seen by an x ray. If you lie on your implants on a hard surface you might generate some discomfort. I would recommend you contact your previous surgeon for an exam. Nerve entrapment can happen, but it is uncommon. Interestingly enough studies have shown positive effects of large volume liposuction on large BMI patients so long as they lost weight after surgery.
