How long will these lumps take to go down?
Lip Lumps
Nov 6, 2018
Bruising and swelling can occur with filler injection and may take as long as 2 weeks to resolve. You may use NSAIDs (like Aleve, Advil) as directed on the bottle for the next 3 days to decrease tenderness and swelling and/or ice for up to 5 minutes 4 times per day. If the lumps persist past the 2 week mark and you are unhappy with the results, I would return to the clinic to have the filler dissolved using Hylauronidase.
Best of luck!
Options for removing dark spots after acne breakouts?
Dark spots and acne scars
Nov 6, 2018
The darkness that you are talking about looks mostly to be caused by acne scarring. I think that certain lasers would be a great option or even something like microneedling (SkinPen FDA approved) which helps improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation, acne scars, and skin texture. This works by temporarily creating micro channels in the face to allow the body to produce collagen and elastin. You would most likely require 3-6 treatments of…
Will uneven cheek after Juvederm Volift cheek filler go away?
Cheek Asymmetry
Nov 6, 2018
Japstott-
There can be the appearance of some initial asymmetry following filler due to swelling. I would recommend waiting 2 weeks and if you still believe there is asymmetry, I would return to the practice where you had the filler placed and have them add filler to even the cheeks or have the filler removed using Hylauronidase.
Good luck!
Will repeated treatment of bruxism with Botox cause more masseter reduction?
Masseter reduction
Nov 6, 2018
Mini555-
There is a range of Botox units that is used to treat the masseters and improve bruxism and everyone requires a little bit different number of units. If you are still having problems with jaw clenching, you may add more Botox and this will help reduce the problems and decrease the strength and size of the masseter muscles. The first couple of treatments you usually will require more Botox units in order to decrease masseter strength and size until the muscle relaxes and becomes…
How old do I look and what are some non-invasive treatments to help make my appearance mo
Non-invasive Treatments for More Youthful Appearance

Tokyogirl88-
First of all you have a very beautiful complexion! There are various causes that contribute to premature skin aging including- smoking, sun exposure, stress, poor diet and water intake, and poor daily skin care routine.
1) Since your complexion is fair, protecting yourself with sunscreen daily is very important and making sure that you are choosing a physical SPF (sunscreens using titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide) vs…
What is the best treatment for large pores on my nose?
Large Pores
Oct 17, 2018
It sounds like you would be a great candidate for microneedling. Microneedling helps the skin to build new collagen and elastin which minimizes pore size, helps with hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and acne scarring.
19 with deep laugh lines. Why does my skin look so terrible? How can I fix this?
Caring for your Skin
Oct 16, 2018
The appearance of your skin could be due to a variety of factors- dehydration, increased oil production and inflammation, and clogged pores. These things can make the skin appear dull and lifeless with an irregular texture. Increased water consumption, face washing morning and night, exfoliating scrubs 3x weekly, and charcoal face masks once weekly create a great skin care routine for you to follow. DermaSweep is a great service that some medical spas and dermatology offices…
