The proper control of tip rotation is a very important component of rhinoplasty. As the initial swelling recedes, some of the apparent over rotation will self correct. If the tip stays over-rotated, there are methods of correction in the future, but usually require further surgery for tip de-rotation using cartilage grafts to support the structure of the nose.

Patients can expect some normal stages of healing after hair transplant, such as minor swelling, crusting or scabbing of the sites, and then the scabs or crusts will wash away. The grafts are held in place by wound healing proteins and then ingrowth of blood vessels and collagen tissue. After one week, normal washing should not hurt the grafts. the dried protein-fluid may be adherent, but should wash away, alleviating the "cracks" you see in the scalp.

Loose skin or muscle after a facelift can be treated non surgically with Ultherapy or surgically by revision surgery. BOTOX can be used to treat residual muscle bands by relaxing the platysma muscle, but does not tighten the skin or muscles.
