Hi!! You first need to get the moles checked by a dermatologist to make sure they are benign. Moles can be removed using electrocautery which leaves minimal scarring if done by an experienced dermatologist.

Hi! Thank you for your question. I would recommend belotero over restylane silk for injection under the eyes. Restylane silk tends to cause more swelling that can last up to 4 weeks after injection. Be aware that post injection bruising is very common after under eye injection.

Hi! Based on the pictures you provided and the distribution of the pigmentation, it may be consistent with an atopic dermatitis. The pigmentation is likely due to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The underlying dermatitis needs to be treated and the pigmentation will resolve with time. Using bleaching creams may actually irritate the skin and potentially worsen the pigmentation. You can see a dermatologist for treatment of dermatitis.

It may take up to 2-3 months to see improvement of Acne while on accutane.
If you have not seen results after 4 months, I recommend talking to your dermatologist regarding the dosage. You may require a higher dose based to see improvement. As long as you are tolerating the mediation well, your dermatologist can increase the dose to get your acne under better control.

First, you need to get the moles checked by a dermatologist.
We use a device called dermatoscope to evaluate moles to make sure they are healthy. After it has been determined that the moles are benign, the best way to have them removed is to use electrocautery. This needs to be done by an experienced dermatologist to avoid damaging the normal skin tissue.

Sometimes it may take 3-4 months to see results from Accutane. You need to make sure to continue taking it with fatty meals and make sure the dose is adjusted if there is a change in your weight. I usually start my patients on 1mg/kg/day for 5 months. If acne is severe you may need a higher dose such as 1.5-2mg/kg/day. If you are not seeing results after 3-4 months of treatment, you can talk to your dermatologist to increase your dose if you are tolerating the medication well. The...
