Thanks for your question.- You want to wait 12 months, in general, to wait until all of the swelling is decreased- Moving quickly to treat irregularities so soon after surgery may lead to further issues- As mentioned below, there are several ways to treat dorsal deviations of both the bony and cartilaginous nasal dorsum- Consult your surgeon as they can explain what exactly was done and why the swelling pattern is what it is at this point.Rhinoplasty is all about patience.

After one year, consult your surgeon and come up with a set of clear goals. You will want to pursue a surgeon with experience with ethnic noses and revision rhinoplasty. Give this one year, your goals may change once the swelling is decreased.

Thanks for your question.I would give the process more time, some patients can take up to one year after surgery for all the changes to occur. There are no exercises, but there are non-surgical methods to build the dorsum of the nose including fillers. I would give the process some time before considering treatment. I would also communicate with your surgeon as they can give you additional support and information.

Thanks for your question.I think you should follow-up with your surgeon about this matter. Personally, I would not want to perform surgery on someone with an active URTI (cold). For a surgery like what you will be getting (elective), there is no urgency, get the surgery done when you are both mentally and physically optimized. In the meantime, fluids, bedrest, and hydration should speed up your recovery.
