Hi There,
There are couple non surgical procedures for Weight loss.
1) Gastric Balloon: With endoscopic procedure little balloon is been inserted in to your stomach. That limits the capacity of your stomach and with that helps you to consume less food. Eventually with Gastric Balloon helps you to lose about 5% to 10% of your body weight.
2) Gastric Injection (Botox): this is also an endoscopic proceduce and it only takes about 15 to 20 mins and patients can go back to their daily…

Hi There,
There are plenty of patients, who are scared to have any surgery done. The good part of most Gastric Sleeve surgery is minimally invasive and closed as it is a laparoscopic surgery in which smallest incisions are made around your belly and a slender tool with a tiny camera and light is being inserted into your stomach and everything is screened on a monitor while following the surgical steps that is planned beforehand. With Gastric Sleeve operation 70 to 80% of your…

Can you get the gastric sleeve surgery if you smoke and are self paying?
Can you get the gastric sleeve surgery if you smoke and are self paying?
Sep 9, 2019
Great Question,
It is important that you quit smoking for at least 1 month prior your surgery even if you are self paying for the operation. Smoking increases the risk of the surgery, one of the complications would be not healing fast enough and your stitches won’t be able to attach easily after the surgery. We do not recommend patients to start smoking for about 8 weeks after the surgery.
I hope this answers your question.
Kind Regards,
