Am I allergic to top Q filler? Tender and filled with pus.
lip filler and lumps
Mar 29, 2017
Thanks for your question. Your pictures are not encouraging as this does not look like normal post injection swelling. You should not have pus coming from the area and you should not have hard lumps. This suggests either infection or a granuloma reaction to the filler. You should have this treated ASAP. Treatment usually includes hyaluronidase to break down the lump and possibly the use of antibiotics if there is infection (which it sounds like there could be). I would suggest that you…
What are my options for sagging midface, extremely sunken cheeks, and deep nasolabial folds (26 year
mid face volume loss
Mar 29, 2017
I think that I would strongly discourage you from having a face lift at 26. Many males have thin cheeks. You didn’t say if this is how you’ve noticed this or if it has always been this way. You can safely add volume in this area. The best filler for this kind of loss would likely be Sculptra which stimulates your own collagen. One of the side benefits of Sculptra is that it often does enhance the skin as well. There are other options to improve the skin texture and tone once you have got the…
I’ve read that fillers don’t really work for jowls, is this true? Hoping for a solution, not ready fo
jowl fillers
Mar 29, 2017
Thanks for your question. Fillers can have a very nice effect at reducing the appearance of jowls, particularly at your young age. This may involve injecting filler at the angle of the jaw and the cheeks to lift the jowls. Then the triangle in front of the jowl to the chin and the corner of the mouth can also be filled to hide the appearance of the jowl. Sometimes, though, it is better to reduce the jowl fat if there is a lot there. Hope this helps.
What is the best way to get SK removed from the face?
seb ker on the face
Mar 29, 2017
Thankyou for your question. there are many ways of removing these lesions. My preferred method is cautery and curette. What this means is that a type of cautery is used on the lesion to dry the surface of it which can then be easily scraped off. The reason that I prefer this method is that it usually leaves very little if any scar. The healing time is also quite short. Other treatments can include liquid nitrogen or laser.
Lip augmentation 0.5 ml or 1 ml? and nurse or doctor? Thank you.
lip filler
Mar 29, 2017
This is a very good question. from the photos that you have included, you have beautifully shaped lips and good proportion to each other. what i can’t tell is their proportion to your face as this is also important. i would almost be reluctant to add any filler but if you wanted a bit more volume, you would certainly start with a small amount. the lips are funny, though, as they do absorb quite a bit of filler. if you imagine filling the upper lift, upper right, lower left, lower right of…
HA fillers are leaving me puffy and round faced, are there other options that do a better job of mimi
male filler
Mar 17, 2017
This is a great question and shows the difference between treating men and women. Men do not like the soft look and want to retain an angular look. Some of the HA fillers do not attract moisture. A good filler for males is Sculptra. This is technically a more difficult filler to inject so should be done by someone with experience but it can give very nice results. Usually takes 2-3 treatments then it can be good for 2-5 years. Check it out.
Brow furrow untouched by botox?

Thanks for your question. You did not mention whether this was your first Btx injection or not. Quite often, if the wrinkle lines are deep, it will take several months for the lines to dissipate. If this was your first Btx treatment, you may just want to give it a bit more time to see if the lines soften. If not, then you can use fillers but there are risks attached to injecting this area which a competent injector will explain to you before considering injection. The other options could…
