How Long Are Compression Stockings Worn After Sclerotherapy?
Post Sclerotherapy recomendations
Dec 10, 2018
Although duration of use of support stockings following sclerotherapy varies greatly across the globe we generally recommend wearing a 20-30 mm compression stocking for 8 days after sclerotherapy. We ask the patient to take them off at night.

If you have a history of reduced circulation in your lower leg ( often seen in diabetes) you should have a medical assessment of your circulation before wearing strong support hose.

Treatment for Bulging Vein on my Ankle Bone?
Vein on the ankle
Dec 10, 2018
Prominent veins in the ankle area can either be normal or the result of varicose veins from above. If there has been a change in the appearance of the vein is best to do a venous ultrasound to look for broken valves in the veins above. If the veins are quite small, what we call spider veins, you do have significant varicose veins above. If the vein is otherwise normal-appearing it may just simply be normal for you and should be left alone.
