Visible leg veins. How can I treat them?
Reticular veins
Jul 21, 2021
Hi , you had an ultrasound that showed no varicose veins but have you seen a vein doctor? The sonographer did look for reflux in the usual large superficial veins, but it does not mean you don’t have dilated blue veins (or “reticular veins”) They can be treated by sclerotherapy to reduce their size or erase them if they become more unsightly. You need to see a doctor treating cosmetic veins, and not only varicose ones. There is a few in Australia.
I had Veingogh for capilliaries on top of cheeks under my eyes. I have bumps, and more veins have appeared
Hi Lisa

I know this is an old message, I hope you are better now. I don’t see how you can get bumps after a treatment by Vein Gogh. The energy wave should cauterize the vein without traumatising the skin. The result is generally immediate and there is sometimes little dots left on the skin for a few days, that’s it.
Veingogh on my upper eyelids. Any suggestions?
Scaring with Vein Gogh
Jul 21, 2021
I have treated a few eyelids veins with Vein Gogh, there is no risk of scar if the physician do not use too much power. There is swelling for 1-2 days but it disappear pretty quickly. The Vein Gogh probe does not penetrate the skin, it just cauterize the vein from the skin.
Would Veingogh be a good option for tiny spider veins on the bridge of my nose?
Vein Gogh
Jul 21, 2021
Yes, it is exactly what VG is for. You should not have any problem treating those veins with Vein Gogh (VG) You can try on 1-2 veins , the result should be immediately visible I have treated at least 1500 noses with VG, successfully in 90% of the time, 10% need more than 1 treatment. The veins can come back, or you may have new ones, due to sun exposure, smoking, or just becaus eof the ageing process.
5 weeks post-op Veingogh treatment for spider veins, now have red and purple marks on leg. Will they go aw
Vein Gogh
Jul 21, 2021
The marks generally go away after a while, but they sometimes leave some hypopigmentation (white small patches) that is why I only use Vein Gogh on the face; or on very small (like hair size) veins on legs.Vein Gogh is a great device (I treated more than 1500 patients without any long standing complica
Bulgy varicose veins in my right leg. What are the treatment options and any side effects post procedures?
Varicose Vein
Oct 24, 2019
Hello,
The picture shows an obvious varicose vein and the best option is laser or RF ablation + sclerotherapy / or phlebectomy – vein avulsion through skin incisions-)
No reason to treat the other leg if you see nothing and have no symptoms.
How can I fix a swollen vein between my nose and eyes?
Angular vein?
Oct 24, 2019
Hello,
First, I am not sure that it is the angular vein that you see, it may be the tear trough ligament with is a bit displaced.
It is rare to see a dilated vein in this area, they communicate with deep ones in general and should drain into them correctly if there is no obstacle.
A visible ligament can look like that and can be fixed partially with a cannulae and a bit of fillers.
