It’s hard to tell with photos, but suggest seeing your injector. If it has that whitish blue tinge under eye, it could be superficial filler. I usually start with a superficial small dose of Hyalase 50 U (we dont have hyalenex)). Suggest discussing with the injector to examine this issue and consider a careful dissolve, once decided.

What we do for a patient like yourself is to start with pigment treatment such as PICO laser or REVLITE to get rid of the dark pigment first. Then some skin tightening using HFU. Once this is done, assessed by a good clinician to see if your eyes are hollow/ sunken AND you skin is strong and not loose in the undereye to consider filler (LAST STEP). Undereye filler has the greatest issues for patients, but younger age seem to do a bit better.
Can filler placed in the pyriform fossa migrate to the nose?

On MRI studies so far, there is no scientific evidence that filler migrates from compartment from compartment. So unless it was placed there, or squired that far AT THE TIME of the injection, no evidence that it could travel distances as you may be suggesting. It flattens and disperses a little over time. No significant movement away from injection site.

Sometimes filler is difficult to dissolve and not all of it is removed in one session. I have seen smiles affected when there is still volume in the cheeks for example, which may need more dissolving. I suggest seeing your practitioner again and discussing.

I always suggest to my patients avoid using straws, smoking and try not to lazer / damage hair follicles above the lip – it’s provides support.Other products l, which are not as “thick” fillers, can be an alternative in combination with some botulinum toxin A.
