Good skin care is always a great place to start. There are many components to the ageing face. Loss of volume in fat pads, ligament laxity and bone resorption all start in our early 30s. Injectable filler will help restore some of these issues. From your photos you appear to have lost some mid face volume in your cheeks which is contributing to your nasolabial folds. Replacing the volume in your cheeks is a nice place to start.

You are right that an in person consultation is always best. But from the photos you have posted you do appear to have a large masseter muscle. Botulinum toxin can be used effectively to reduce the bulk of the muscle but has side effects of increasing the appearance of jowls. Find a trusted physician and discuss any treatment options in full.

Microneedling is safe after treatment with fillers. It is safest to wait at least 2 weeks after your filler treatment before having your procedure. It won’t breakdown your filler as it does not penetrate to the same treatment area. Infection is a small risk due to protocol.

If you are 6 days post treatment and your skin is still not settling then I suggest you go see your local Physician. They can assist with choosing the right dressings and ensure that you don’t develop a subsequent infection.
