It is important to understand why the surgeon may have said this.  You may have a lot of deflated tissue and if you were opposed to a lift, then the surgeon is giving you the best option for the best cosmetic outcome.I would suggest that you seek another opinion.

The muscle contractions you are feeling are very normal.  Sometimes, if the muscles spasm too much a muscle relaxer can be prescribed.  It is not unusual for one side to feel and/or look different after surgery.Follow your surgeons advice and make sure you go to all your follow up appointments.

Thank you for your question.  Many young women choose breast augmentation at your age for various reasons.  As long as you are  healthy, have fully completed puberty, and have realistic expectations, you should be a great candidate.You should be made aware that you will need another revision of breast surgery in your lifetime also.Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon for the best advice.

I am sorry to hear that you have had these problems as they are very rare.  Depending on what type of bacteria caused the infection may be a deciding factor as to when implants can be put in again.  Three to twelve months is the best I can say without knowing more details.

Once you are through the healing process and cleared by your surgeon, you should be able to resume and/or participate in any type of activity that you would like.  I have many patients that are body builders, fitness models, and crossfitters that get back to it just fine.Hope this helps!

For the most part, surgeons have patient’s wear post op garments for differing periods of time depending on how the healing is going.  Follow your surgeon’s instructions and make sure to go to all your follow up appointments.

YES!! You will be able to return to your normal weight/activity levels, but it takes time. Once you wait the initial healing time required by your surgeon, then you can start back slowly.  Understanding that just because you are past the “wait” time, doesn’t mean you will be able to crank out 50 burpees right then.  You will over time, but you have to be patient and listen to your body.Good luck and I wish you the best for results and recovery.

There is no good reason the have these two procedures done separately.  Make sure you are going to a board certified plastic surgeon for both procedures.  Don’t get caught up in the marketing aspect of different modalities for liposuction.  A good plastic surgeon can do good liposuction with the system he/she is most comfortable with using.  Remember you are buying the expertise of the surgeon, not a brand name of a liposuction company.I would reconsider your plans.

Hello.  It is more likely that you have caused some minor damage to the capsule that is forming around the implant. At 4 months, the capsule is fairly thin in most people and can sometimes be slightly torn.  In most cases, this resolves on it’s own.  For peace of mind, it is best to follow up with your plastic surgeon.

Changes in nipple sensation is a very common problem that is likely temporary.  Right now you are experiencing hypo-sensitivity.  When the swelling goes down and as things are healing, you may actually experience hypersensitivity before returning to normal.  The good news is that is all but a few rare cases, sensitivity of the nipples return to normal.  It is part of the healing process.

It is not uncommon for the sutures to come to the surface after surgery.  Sometimes, the body doesn’t absorb the material, so they migrate to the surface.  A quick visit to your surgeon will resolve the issue.  He/she can easily remove them, and a couple of days of antibiotic ointment and you should be good as new!
