Biography: Sherry Goodman is a certified surgical technician and serves as Dr. Fernau's First Assistant, scrubbing in with him during his surgical procedures. In addition, she is also a certified laser technician, as well as certified to work with our hair restoration patients as they undergo the NeoGraft hair transplant procedure. For more than 25 years, Sherry has worked with Dr. Fernau and has made countless relationships with patients that she feels is a privilege. Because of her extensive knowledge of the plastic surgery procedures we offer, and her longevity with our practice, she serves as one of our patient concierges and is able to provide patients with a wealth of information. Most recently, Sherry became certified to assist and perform Lipo Dissolve for our patients. Sherry is a member of the Plastic Surgery Assistants Association.

Biography: Sheila Fernau has worked alongside Dr. Fernau for more than 30 years. She is a registered nurse and patient care coordinator, working with patients as they begin their surgical process. Her role is important, as she is the one who ensures all medical records are completed and accurate. She helps patients during the pre and post-operative process and is often in the operating room with Dr. Fernau. In addition, Sheila is also a certified aesthetician as well as a certified NeoGraft Specialist and administers nonsurgical treatments to patients such as BOTOX, fillers, chemical peels and permanent makeup. She is a patient concierge and is always willing to assist and create an exceptional patient experience for our guests.

Biography: Cindy Scozio works as the skincare specialist and aesthetician for our practice. In this role, Cindy wears many hats. She works in our on-site MedSpa administering advanced treatments such as medical grade facials, chemical peels, dermabrasion, micro-needling, acne treatment and Vein Wave for spider vein removal. She has extensive training in laser hair removal, IPL for skin rejuvenation, Fraxel laser treatment, tattoo removal, and Isolaz. She is certified in all of these laser treatments and assists Dr. Fernau with BOTOX and filler injections. Cindy completed aesthetician school at the Foundation of Youth Aesthetician School in Wexford, PA. When she is not busy working with a patient, she can be found helping one as she also serves as an office patient concierge. She can answer most questions about any procedure and is extremely knowledgeable about aesthetic rejuvenation and proper skincare
