Se recomienda que se tome una tomografía computarizada o una resonancia para ver la ubicación del implante debido a la foto en la que se inclinan el borde del implante se observa saber si esta retromuscular o por encima del músculo, al igual que la decoloración roja de la piel implante no es normal que significa que se trata de una destrucción del implante, que puede coroborar con una tomografía.
