Would Botox fix a gummy smile and lips that turn down at the corners?
You're on the right track!

A botox lip flip can certainly help with the in-turning of the upper lip and create less of that "gummy" smile. The downward corners of the mouth can be assessed with an experienced injector, often times some dermal fillers can be used to aid some support to the area.
Can i use makeup after i use adapalene gel?
Make-up fine while using adapalene

Hi,
Adapalene is in the class of topical retinoids (which retinol is also a member of), and yes it is fine to use make-up in the morning after appying adapalene at night. Use of topical retinoids can cause irritation (redness and peeling) as a side effect. If this occurs then use adapalene less often, for example every other night, and/or apply a light moisturizer prior to applying the adapalene.
Best,

What’s the best technology for hair removal?

There are so many different laser devices on the market, but more limited is the laser source used and therefore the actual wavelength of the laser. This is very important and can help simplify as it narrows down what you are comparing. For example, Alexandrite is the laser source and therefore the wavelength is 755nm. The LightSheer is a diode and so about 810nm (it can range somewhat). From what I can tell (I don't own the machine) the Soprano has a diode and Alexandrite...

Hi there,
Firstly, regarding looking 'fake'' - everyone has very different anatomy and some people naturally have a significantly larger bottom lip. I do not feel your lips appear obvious that you have received a hyaluronic acid in the past.
Secondly, yes, you can have persistence of hyaluronic acid product for much longer than the 'typical' duration the company claims they last.
Thirdly, there is a straightforward solution to this if it truly is remnants of the...

Temporary swelling of HA fillers when I have a cold, flu or fever.
Immunogenic reaction
Nov 27, 2018
Nov 27, 2018
This is a not uncommon reaction, although not noted in the literature as much as persistent delayed reactions. I have seen and heard of this but not necessarily with every infection. For some patients it is a one time reaction, for others it occurs more often with infections. This can present many months or even more than a year after the filler treatment was performed. There is no concern with this but if more prolonged or bothersome there are treatment options. As you very correctly...
Anything I can do to wear off Botox quicker?
Time is key
Nov 20, 2018
Nov 20, 2018
You have a beautiful smile and I can understand being disappointed with the outcome. It appears your upper lip elevating muscles were affected, likely the injection was incorrectly placed and also an incorrect dose. Botox typically lasts 3-4 months, however, depending on the dosing it may wear off faster. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to make this wear off faster.
