Answer Snippet
If I get microneedling, including over my eyebrows, will it lift the pigment from my microblading?
Microneedling over microblading or tattoos
Feb 21, 2019
Tattooed areas and microbladed eyebrows should not have microneedling done in those areas.
Microneedling will affect the dispersion of the pigment and create an uneven look.
Will getting fillers at 18 be detrimental to my face?
Fillers in an 18 year old
Feb 21, 2019
HA fillers are natural and at 18, your face structure has fully formed so they would not be detrimental.
Yes there is maintenance, but if they are done in the right way, they should not age you. The fillers need to provide a natural effect, nothing dramatic. A good injector will understand the anatomy and structure of your face and determine where and how much of the filler needs to be placed.
Can hyaluronic acid be injected into the whole dark circle area?
HA fillers for dark eye circles
Feb 6, 2019
You can have HA fillers, but be aware of the Tyndall effect, which is a bluish hue that can occur.
This depends on the placement of the filler and your skin color.
An advanced injector will be able to counsel you on this.
Since there are different HA fillers, some are better in certain area of the face than others.
But HA fillers are a great way to fill the hollows and reduce the appearance of dark circles.
Fractional Microneedling with RF. Should I get it done again this week?
Frequency of Rf microneedling
Feb 6, 2019
Different wavelengths and energy and depths are used with Rf microneedling.
Inquire what settings were used for you.
Treatments should be spaced a minimum of 4 weeks.
Getting it done after only a week does not offer any advantage, in fact, the skin may not have fully healed and you can reverse the positive initial effects.
Getting 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart would be best as you will notice more of a difference over that period of time.
Will Microneedling with PRP help these acne scars?
Microneedling for acne scars
Feb 6, 2019
I would recommend RF microneedling with proper after-care with high quality skin products.
i use organic stem cell and CBD skin care.
Be cautious of laser treatments as they can lead to hyperpigmentation, though they can still be very beneficial.
I use Erbium laser.
I would recommend stem cells or PRP with RF microneedling (Vivace or secret RF or Infini as examples). I use the Vivace and have had nice results with PRP and growth factors.
It would take...
Is this Vascular Occlusion ?
Vascular Occlusion?
Feb 6, 2019
It does not seem to be an occlusion, but more like bruising discoloration perhaps if a needle technique was used vs cannula.
I would absolutely recommend monitoring it, and taking pictures over the next 24 hours then schedule a follow up with the person who did the procedure.
Progressive pics to document changes are important in this case.
Good luck.
Lip filler infection from not following aftercare. Is it safe to get filler again?
Lip filler again
Feb 6, 2019
As long as the infection is cleared, lip filler should be fine again.
There are all hyaluronic acid based, but there are differences between the various types.
I would go to an experienced injector/physician and have it properly examined to see what abnormalities may exist and how to adequately correct it.
Following after-care instructions is always crucial after any procedure, esp aesthetic ones on the face.
Good luck.
