Can you do upper body cardio or upper body weight training after laser vein removal for spider vei
Spider vein compression
Nov 25, 2013
This mostly depends on the size of the veins treated. In general, I have no problem with this. If the veins were treated by ENDOVENOUS closure, then some abstinence from heavy weight bearing activity is needed. Endovenous closure is for varicose veins, not spider veins. This should be asked to your health care provider that provided the treatment, ideally.
Options for Treating Large Blue Veins on Face and Temple?
Facial veins
Nov 25, 2013
Veins on the face can be treated with microphlebectomy, laser or injections. Microphlebectomy is best for veins that cannot be treated by transcutaneous (through the skin) laser. It involves the physical removal of the vein. There are a variety of tools that can be used for microphlebectomy, and some involve incisions of 1mm, some larger, but typically none larger than 3mm. Typically there is a bruise, but this is short lived. A 1mm incision typically heals with no obvious scar, especially...

There are a variety of tools that can be used for microphlebectomy, and some involve incisions of 1mm, some larger, but typically none larger than 3mm. A 1mm incision typically heals with no obvious scar, especially on the face, which in general heals better than most areas of the body because of an abundant blood supply. To truly identify which...
How Effective is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy effectiveness
Nov 15, 2013
In general, some patients and areas need more sclerotherapy sessions than others. Its just an individual dependent issue, like any medication the response is different in some people. The only was to really tell, would be a physical exam, but in general, there should not be any issue that cannot be resolved.
Can I put on horsechestnut cream on my legs after sclerothopy. I had it done 1week ago?
Horse Chestnut Cream after Sclerotherapy
Nov 13, 2013
It is possible, but depends on a variety of factors such as the level of irritation still present from the procedure, as well as the components of the cream. In general, this is a question best discussed with your treating physician after a physical exam.
