What you are describing sounds like it could be post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). However, with any dark lesion you want to be sure to rule out a new growth prior to treating it. This can be done by seeing a dermatologist trained in these issues. Once a diagnosis is made treatment including (but not limited to) topical hydroquinone and possibly a laser could be considered.
I have a few holes or acne pit scars in my nose that won’t go away. What can I do about it?

In addition to the above mentioned treatments, for acne scars a fractionated laser (ablative vs. non-ablative) may also give patients some improvement. For dilated pores, these lasers can also be of some benefit to overall skin texture in some patients!
