You will not see a difference at only two weeks post op. If you had a well done liposculpture, you will start to see results at around 2 to 3 months post op. So patience for now is a great ally.

The drains will depend on the plastic surgeon’s personal experience. So use them and some don’t. They are not a must.

The recovery time will very much depend on the amount of fat suctioned, and on the duration of the procedure. My patient’s safety are my very main concern. Therefore, when flying, I ALWAYS ask my patients to wear TED compression socks, drink lots of water, move your legs and feet constantly, walk around the plane, and wait at least 48 to 72 hours prior to having surgery. These safety precautions must always be used when flying, whether or not having surgery.

The goals will depend on many factors. One of them is if your muscular and bone structures can allow that. Lipo is to remove those stubborn deposits you mention.You seem to be in great shape.

This will vary form person to person. The best is for you to have a consultation. A tummy tuck may get rid of most of the stretch marks. And if you have some fat lipo in your flanks, a little lipo may be of great help in achieving a much nicer figure.

What you describe seems to be that you had lipo with a heat device, call it laser, or vaser type. That is a risk with those devices. That is why I like to stay away from them, and use a more efficient and safer machine, called the Microaire, obtaining magnificent results.
