400 surgeries is a good number to obtain expertise in a specific surgery. However, the number of surgeries, academic titles, ivy league names and a variety of other ways to impress patients do not necessarily convert into trustworthiness.
Nurses and some other surgical staff who work with a surgeon directly would probably be the best judges. Asking office staff if a doctor is good, while in the office, is probably not helpful.

Tummy tuck and breast lift are commonly performed together. A tummy tuck is a more involved procedure after which there will be a 3-4 week period when patients stand and walk in a hunched position. That position will result in significant back muscle straining. Breast lift recovery is easier, with less discomfort. Considering your occupation, I would recommend preparing to take at least 4 weeks off and start working with a lighter schedule for the first few weeks....

Old generations of silicone implants had a very liquid silicone which does easily spread during implant removal if the capsule ruptures. I have removed and replaced old implants, it takes more time and requires more skills to maintain capsule integrity during dissection for as long as possible. If some silicone spills out, it needs to be meticulously washed out. In my mind, there may be significant risks from anesthesia due to your mother's age and I would consider...

Hello gnk8832. It appears that there is a double-bubble deformity and lateral flattening on the left and lateral displacement of implants on both sides. A revision would likely include modification of a capsule with capsulotomies, capsulectomies, and capsulorrhaphies on both sides, and if needed breast fold reset on the left side. Excess skin may be excised or a more formal revision of mastopexy may be performed based on the exam and surgeon's assessment.

500-550 ml is a large implant size and probably will look very noticeable on a petit body and may feel quite heavy. If you can get an in-person consultation and ask to try sizers you will be able to get a better idea of what you are looking for. It is possible that somewhat smaller implants will allow you to achieve a very good result.

In a case of a unilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with an implant, it is expected to have asymmetry with the implant side higher than the remaining natural breast.
In order to achieve symmetry, very often the other remaining breast needs to be lifted.
To lower the reconstructed breast, I would consider a lower profile implant and performing capsulotomies of the lower pole. These maneuvers result in the expansion of the lower part and allow for a more natural shape....

You are likely to get very good results with the smaller breast augmentation with an implant and larger breast reduction. I usually do procedure in this specific order: making the smaller breast larger and then doing a reduction of the larger breast to match the size and shape.
