Will 8 mm long dental implants be long-lasting?
Implant long enough

I have no problems with 8mm implant, I place 7mm and 7.5mm regularly. The only thing I’d that you have to have good quality bone to support it.
How to proceed with front crown that has recently come loose and dentist broke post while pulling it of
Broken Post
Dec 6, 2018
Definitely an implant at this stage, any more attempts will be a waste of time.
I don’t think it’s the Dentist fault as I can see from the photos that the tooth was structuraly compromised and the dentist tried to keep it together to get as much as they could out of the tooth.
Do I need a temporary crown 4 months after the placement of my dental implant?
Temporary Crown on Implant
Dec 6, 2018
I agree with that, you do need a temporary crown to shape the gum; in the front area what goes wrong is the the pink part (gum). You don’t want a successful implant to have a crown on top that looks different than the other teeth especially with the shape and contour of the gum around it.
Is Empress 2 the same as Empress Esthetic? Is there anything called Empress covered with eMax? Empress
Choice of Crown materials
Dec 1, 2018
If your teeth are very discoloured and you have tried internal bleaching with no success then the best approach is to mask them.
I have been working with Empress and eMax crowns for a long time now and I use them regularly in my in house milling machine for the past 15 years. I can tell you that Empress is very translucent and that is why I like it because it is very life like, eMax is less translucent but if you teeth are dark they will show.
If the teeth are not highly discoloured…
These are my PMMAs. Wanting some feedback on how they look? Also will I have a choice of color shade fo
Temporary Crowns/ Veneers
Dec 1, 2018
Unfortunately the photos aren’t very detailed but I could tell from the portrait photo that the midline seem to be correct , the PMMAs are following the lower lip line and there is more “white” at the corner of your smile.
The teeth size and proportions looks good, having said that a high res close ups and intra oral photos are needed to be 100% sure.
As far as the finals, yes you do have the full choice of color shade and type of materials which will be highly influenced by the c…
I want my teeth to show better when I smile. How can I achieve this?
Showing more teeth
Feb 12, 2018
Hi,
You can achieve this by making your top teeth follow the lower lip line when you smile, so make them a bit longer to get closer to your lower lip. this way you will show more teeth. this can be done with veneers and/or crowns.
Regarding the smile photo that you attached, please remember that the teeth are whiter “more contrast” and that smile is showing more “pink or gum” on top of the teeth. this is the nature of how you smile, your photos shows that you have low smile line and if…
