Hi there,
Unfortunately the picture you have provided isn’t the best to assess your nasolabial folds. It would be great to see what it also looks like with your face at rest and not smiling.
However, yes dermal fillers are great methods used to reduce nasolabial folds, and you get to see results immediately. It is also less invasive, and cheaper than surgery.
I use Juvederm Ultra 3 up to 1 ml in total to soften the lines for my clients.
Will these bumps go down? Is this bad injecting or a normal side effect?

Hi there,
Unfortunately lumps can be side effect of lip fillers. They can either be caused by the collection of filler in one area, or a granuloma (inflammation that causes cells to collect).
From the picture you have provided it does look like fillers. unfortunately as you have had these fillers injected for almost a month- it is unlikely to go – until it is completely absorbed naturally or dissolved by an aesthetic practitioner.

Hi there,
I would suggest starting with a total 0.5 ml lip filler for both upper and lower lips. To create symmetry and balance. I believe just placing in upper lip puts at risk of getting a 1:1 lip ratio, we often want an ideal ratio of 1:2.
Start off small, and if you want bigger you can always return for more.

The results of Botox becomes visible anything up to 2 weeks. Give it some more time.
Yes, it is possible that as an individual continues to use Botox the body metabolizes it much faster than an individual who has never used it before (creating some sort of resistances.)

Hi there,
Do you mean in the clear from side effects? Most concerning side effects are relatively uncommon. The most common side effects are redness and bruising post injection- these are relatively short lived.
Other most serious side effects are uncommon, and can present either immediately or weeks. For example in trials only 3% experienced eyelid drooping.
Bad results? Frontalis muscle injections are relatively simple and hard to get wrong, the results become visible anything from 4 days…

Hi there,
I believe you would benefit from what I call “baby botox”. This is basically using small amount (about 8 units) of Botox in your frontalis muscles, to give a natural non frozen look.
The beauty about Botox injections is that it would minimise worsening of wrinkles around that area.

Unfortunately there isn’t an antidote for Botox. The effects of Botox naturally wears out overtime.
