The microspheres in Radiesse are calcium based and can easily be broken down by the body before full encapsulation occurs which means that the results may not last longer than 1-2 months as full collagen stimulation has not occurred before the product has being broken down. In my experience the response to Radiesse was unpredictable and varied from patent to patient.I have found the the microspheres of Polycaprolactone PCL in Ellanse to be very reliable and giving results of 1-4…

I am sorry to hear of your experience and thank you for sharing on this forum. The labial artery in the lips can often run an unexpected course and in some patients sit above the muscle where one needs to place the filler. In this situation the risk of placing product in the artery is extremely high when using a needle.
