Answer Snippet
Can you advise on Emsella and interference with titanium screws?
Ok to do Emsella
Aug 10, 2021
The Emsella High Frequency Energy penetrates only a short distance into the body, so would not be expected to reach the jaw. Titanium is also minimally responsive to this type of energy. The manufacturer does recommend “no metal in the body” but many doctors would still use the Emsella “off label,” for you because of the above mitigating information. Of course, any pain should result in cessation of treatment.
I had rectocele/enterocele repair 10 years ago. Is it safe to have Vanquish ME?
Yes
Aug 10, 2021
Vanquish ME should not be used directly over skin grafts or significant scars, but perineal area surgery should be unaffected.
Is it safe to do a Vanquish with a breast marker the size of a sesame seed?
Probably
Jun 10, 2021
Obviously there are no studies of this exact situation, but the nature of the treatment modality should make interaction with a tiny bit of steel or titanium in the breast very unlikely.
Does Vanquish require a lifestyle change?
No change needed
Jun 10, 2021
The results have at least 4 years of durability according to the study provided by the manufacturer. However, if you have the exact same lifestyle and weight, you may get additional fat deposits in untreated areas since Vanquish does not create net weight loss, just shaping. Some areas you may be happy to see a little larger, but other areas might bother you.
Can I have Emsella after a hysterectomy and vaginal repair?
Yes!
Apr 25, 2021
As soon as you are released by your GYN surgeon, assuming you don’t have any other contraindications, you can benefit from Emsella treatment!
Can you do the HCG injection diet and breastfeed?
No!
Mar 24, 2021
No supplements or medicines are recommended for weight loss while breastfeeding. Additionally, HCG is neither safe nor effective for weight loss and the Obesity Medical Association has issued a position paper against its use. Lastly, very low calorie diets or nutritionally incomplete diets are not recommended during breastfeeding. Just cut out all junk food until the baby is comfortably weaned.

Eat healthy protein
Mar 24, 2021
Your body mass index (BMI) is well below the healthy number. Your body needs more food, particularly complete protein like eggs, soy, dairy, fish and meat. Please consider seeing a counselor or physician to determine if you have an eating or body image disorder.
