It is not possible to make a size recommendation without an in person consultation. But what I tell my patients is that the bigger the implants, the faster they “drop”. Your breast measurements and skin elasticity will help and experienced plastic surgeon guide you to the correct size for your anatomy and the look that you are trying to achieve. It is hard to say to say from your photos and 20 days post lipo is still very early in the recovery as it often takes 3-6 months for the swelling to go away fully.As far as your stretch marks go, I would say the following:In patients with darker skin, after lipo your skin gets “deflated”. Just like a blue balloon is darker when it is deflated than when it is blown up, so is your skin or stretch marks a bit darker after lipo – when it gets “deflated”. It’s best to ask your plastic surgeon. But at only two weeks after lipo there is still swelling, some bruising, residual fluid, and very often scar tissue. Hard lumpy tissue is often scar tissue that needs to be massaged. (If it is painful, you might have a hematoma or seroma.) Injuring ligaments or muscles in these ares is uncommon. Scar tissue will soften over time and with massage but it can take up to 3-6 months. I hope this helps!

For my patients I recommend 6 weeks no pressure and no sleeping on your back. If they sit, they must off load pressure with a specialized pillow and minimize time on their butts. It’s ok to sleep on your side as long as no fat was transferred to the hips (as is often done to give a more hourglass shape). 6 weeks feels like a long time but I believe being in conservative with fat transfers as it can be easy for fat cells to no survive with too much pressure and not enough TLC.I hope this h…

In my opinion, yes. Take it out temporarily.Is should not be a big deal for your surgeon and their staff to deal with. When you are being prepped for surgery, the staff will be sure to want to make sure your belly button area (and every other area) operated on will be nice and clean. For my patients, I will usually remove belly button rings before the surgery and replace them after.Good luck and good health!

The honest answer is that it is impossible to say. We perform liposuction and BBLs on many women of different shapes and sizes. Often after lipo their skin “contracts” and they have very nice results and do not need to have a tummy tuck done. In some cases, especially in women who have a lot of stretch marks or excess and loose tissue, they do need a tummy tuck afterwards. It is best to see a BCPS who does these procedures often.Good luck and good health!

Pictures would be helpful and an in-office exam essential. But as far at the timing goes, 8 months after a tummy tuck is usually not a problem. I typically have my patients wait 6 months to a year in some cases if they want to have liposuction of the central or upper abdomen after a tummy tuck.I hope this helps!

Typically there is not enough fat under the chin to augment a buttocks to any noticeable degree. Chin fat is better used in the face, and lips if at all.But if you are asking if you can have liposuction done to your buttocks after already having undergone a BBL, the short answer is probably. It would depend on how long it has been (most would suggest waiting for about a year after your BBL) if you want to be smaller again. Best to talk to your original surgeon about this.I hope this helps!

As you probably know, when you have a fat transfer (BBL) done, not all of the fat that is transferred survives. Conservatively, about half (this estimate varies) of the fat will survive. And once fat is transferred and survives the transfer is will typically last for a very long duration. It seems from your photos that you might be a very good candidate for a BBL. An in-office consultation would be necessary to really make that assessment. I think targeted liposuction could sculpt your waist and improve the curves of your waist and hips, and a fat transfer could augment your buttocks to amplify that visual effect. It really depends on your goals, expectations, and fat distribution. I hope this helps!

From your pictures and question, it looks like a fat graft could help. It appears that the issue you have since the explant is extra tissue and devolumization. Typically in my experience the tissues retract to a more or less stable state at about 6 most post explant. So it is reasonable in my opinion to start looking at options like fat grafting. Fat grafting is a less invasive procedure than muscle flaps or free tissue transfer and has the added benefit of sculpting other areas of the body…
