Hi, Botox has been approved by the FDA for several medical uses including upper limb spasticity. This is often seen in patients have had strokes and other brain injuries. It’s is also used for treatment of blepharospasm which is twitching involving the muscles which close the eyes. Typically larger quantities of Botox are needed for larger muscles. You may get relief of pain and stiffness. Possibly the muscle could be weakened overall and this could be a undesired effect for some….
