How long to see the final results after fillers under eyes and by my smile area? (
Bruise/reversal
Sep 8, 2018
Hi, thank you for your question, I can’t quite make out from the picture, however it does look somewhat bruised from the line between the nose to the lips. I would go to your doctor and ask Them to have a look at it. Usually with filler the results are instant, some fillers including Juvéderm Voluma get better over the next three months as they draw in more water. If you wanted to dissolve because you didn’t like it, I would probably probably let it settle down for 4 to 6 week…
Why won’t my doctor tell me how many units of Botox I was given?
Botox Units
Sep 8, 2018
Hi, great question, I am always happy to inform my patients of how many units of Botox they receive, and even write it down for them if they would like. I would certainly go back to your doctor and discuss this.
5 days after getting Juvederm, have lumps in lips. Should I massage my lips?
Lumps After Lip Fillers
Aug 7, 2018
Dear brandibrianne, thank you for your question. If lumps were to be present, they are normally there from the day of treatment, however once the swelling goes down, that’s when patients notice them.
I would certainly go back to your doctor and ask them to review it prior to any massage in yourself. Your doctor may be able to massage them whilst maintaining the shape in a safe way, or may have to dissolve some of the filler if required.
Can anything be done about these folds when I smile?
Smile Folds

Hi Bvcxz, thank you for your question, from your photos, I think dermal filler would help, but I believe a thread lift may give you a better result. This would depend on your skin an how’s much movement there is when pulling it back, as you mentioned. I hope that helps!
Will antibiotic fight my Botox?
Antibiotics After Botox
Aug 4, 2018
Hi Kamasoutra, good question, and I can reassure you that the antibiotics will have no effect on your botox results at all.
What kind of things can I not do after getting Botox injections and for how long?
Post-Botox AfterCare
Aug 2, 2018
Hi Luzjuarbe54, that is a great question, and one I discuss with every single patient. I advise to avoid touching the area or putting makeup on for at least 12 hours, this is to avoid any increases risk of infection.
I would also recommend avoiding alcohol/intense exercise/sauna’s for at least 48 hours, this is due to the increased blood flow to the body, and especially the area treated, some believe this could flush some of the Botox away, this decreasing the effect. It can a…
