Kybella takes longer, has results that vary and are, to some extent, unpredictable.Vaser Liposuction is much better. It is quicker and provides some level of skin tightening effect and is more precise as we physically remove the area’s melted fat in a detailed fashion. The inner thighs are notoriously difficult to treat. They also have thinner skin when compared to other areas of the body. When this is added to some degree of photodamage and skin laxity after years of yoyo weight changes, it leaves us in a difficult position. Skin quality makes or breaks the result. Hi!
Unless for very small areas which are notoriously less sensitive when treated with Vaser Lipo such as the Submental area, I no longer offer treatments under Local Anesthetic only for the simple reason that patients would opt for the Local Anesthetic option influenced by the fact that it is a cheaper option than twilight sedation or general anesthesia. However this does not reflect into a good experience for the patient as often they feel sharp pain and discomfort during the procedure….

It’s unfortunate that you had a burn during your first procedure. Burns are not common at all, at least in my practice. Please ensure your body sculpting specialist has experience with Vaser Liposuction as this will literally make or break the end result.

Hi Sarah,
There is poor skin quality that can be appreciated in the lower aspect of your abdomen. If your only concern is to flatted the bulge that is visible on top of the belly button then this could be done with a vaser liposuction but not so much fat can be removed or if done more aggressively you would risk to have a worsening of the skin quality (More wrinkles, more sogginess). Other option, non surgical, would be fat freezing or fat dissolving injections aimed at that region only. If…
