Answer Snippet
Should botox be injected slowly or quickly?
Botox injection speed
Sep 17, 2015
I do not think that it makes a big difference on how quickly the botox is injected. This depends on the practitioner’s techniqueWhat matters more is how many units and where they are placed.
LASIK Over-Corrected me to .75 and .50. Should I get an enhancement, glasses or contacts?
lasik overcorrection
Sep 17, 2015
I would suggest trying a pair of glasses for now and waiting if you are under 40.It may regress in time.If you are over 40 you may want to consider enhancing one eye as reading may be very difficult.
Can I Keep Using Latisse if I Get Pregnant?
I would not recommend Latisse in pregnancy
Sep 8, 2013
Latisse is category C. Thus I do not feel that the risks outweigh the benefits for pregnancy. You can restart it once done breastfeeding.
Is It Ok to Rub Eyes after One Month of Lasik?
Yes it is ok to gently rub eyes one month after lasik
Sep 8, 2013
It is ok to gently rub the eyes one month post lasik. By this time the flap should be healed down. You should be able to tell if your flap is dislodged or wrinkled by blurry vision. If unsure, please make a follow up appointment with your ophthalmologist.
Lazy Eye and LASIK?
Amblyopia and Lasik
Aug 27, 2013
You may be a good candidate for lasik surgery, but understand that the goal of lasik surgery is to get rid of glasses and contact lenses. It will not fix your lazy eye. In other words it will not make your lazy eye see 20/20 like your other eye.

The lasik surgery that is right for you would require a lasik consultation including knowing your prescription and corneal thickness.

Hope this helps.

Cornea Thickness 470 …myopia -3.5?
Candidacy for PRK
Aug 27, 2013
While you would not be a good candidate for LASIK, you will probably have just enough corneal thickness to do PRK.

I would recommend a thorough consultation with your lasik surgeon and ophthalmologist first.

Good Luck
