Sapphire uses blades made of sapphire—a very sharp precious stone. Unlike traditional U-shaped steel blades, sapphire blades have a much sharper V-shape that allows a shorter healing process compared to other hair transplant operations.

“In the Manual FUE technique, follicular units are removed manually from the skin by rotating the punch by hand. It allows higher hair density and a higher survival rate of grafts,” says Dr. Cinik.

For the FUE method, Dr. Cinik explains that the donor area must be ideal in order to achieve excellent results. This technique provides a more natural, healthy, and high-density head of hair.
