Hair transplant surgery is a permanent solution only if the transplanted hair is taken from a safe donor area. After the procedure, you may take a combination of minoxidil, propecia and use a laser cap to delay or prevent the patient’s own or existing hair from further hair loss, especially in younger patients. You may not need an extra session if you protect your existing hair from further hair loss.
I cant seem to grow facial hair on my cheeks, what can I do to rectify this?

Minoxidil may be a temporary solution. However, you should be aware that minoxidil helps with growth of vellus hair which may not be compatible with the beard hair. Generally, for the first 2 months, there is no growth in the transplanted area. Between the 2nd and the 4th month, you may start to witness slow growth. Between the 4th and the 8th month, hair starts growing faster. Then between the 8th and 12th month, 20% or less of the remaining transplanted hair will grow. Just be a little bit more patient, you will start to witness results in a few more months.
