This treatment of buffalo hump was one of the first studied uses of Lipodissolve or phosphatidylcholine injections.I personally don’t use this treatment modality because I find it to be less reliable and consistent than liposuction which is a more surefire method of removal. Even with liposuction, it is a very hard lump to remove, as the fat there is very fibrous. I use power assisted liposuction to help remove this stubborn area of fat.
