Shampooing at 2 weeks after the procedure is alright. Do it gently with fingertips without using nails. The scabs ideally should come off by 10days post hair transplant. After this the scabs start getting firmly attached to the skin which is no good. As far as the graft dislodgement is concerned: it’s unlikely at 2 weeks post hair transplant. Density is better decided during the Implantation by the hair transplant surgeon and it’s not just the numbers that matter but also the type and Calibre of donor hairs. At the moment, from recent pics it can seen that the hairs which are planted are in shedding stage. We exclusively use Implanters in our practice for primarily following reasons:
Implanters provide tighter graft fit so so chances of graft dislodgement is quiet less. Angles and direction are perfectly applied so as to produce a natural outcome.Cause less swellingLess skin trauma and healing occurs generally faster as compared to slits. While over harvesting is a real problem of improper technique while extraction process, donor area shock loss is also a very common phenomenon. The donor sites do seem a little larger than usual. However there is a real possiblity of donor hair shedding exactly like planted hairs are shed after hair transplant.
