Answer Snippet
Scar from dehisced wound. What procedure do you recommended?
Acne
Nov 23, 2015
HI. In the images provided it appears that you still have active acne lesions- red papule on the upper cheek and the nasal labial fold. Those have to be addressed, the active problem, before you start treating the scars or you can get open wounds and non-healing scars.
I'm 49 yrs old - Is Ultherapy for ugly double chin and slightly sagging face a good choice?
Kybella
Oct 31, 2015
HI. I think the "double chin" you have would best be addressed with a series of injections with kybella. It's an FDA approved injection of an acid into the fat of the double chin that helps to permanently remove the fat in that area. At this point, I would wait a full six months to see what the Ultherapy will do for you since you have done it and paid for it. Make sure you keep your follow up appointment visits with the treating physician, pre-photos taken of you prior to ultherapy and...
What is the best treatment for my post acne discolouration red and purple marks?
Acne scars
Oct 31, 2015
Hi. I would recommend looking into fractional laser treatment for your acne scars or dermapen (also known as micro needling). I would suggest you have the physician treating your acne place you on a topical retinoid, this will help to remodel the collagen that was damaged during your outbreaks and prevent future outbreaks.
36 y/o female with marionette lines at rest. Can this be treated with Botox, filler, or lasers/peels?
Fillers are the answer
Oct 31, 2015
Hi. I think you need to have a consultation for fillers in the mid-face region (voluma/radiesse/restylane lyft). I would suggest you seek someone who is experienced and is board certified in dermatology or plastic surgery for the procedure.
I'm 55 and had botox done between my eyebrow and my forehead. I'm not happy with the results. What can
Don't be afraid to revisit the injector...
Oct 25, 2015
HI.If you are not happy with your results, going to your injector to explain your issues may help them in the future. It may help them not do this to someone else. There may be something they can do to your lateral brows to even things out, or sometimes the best thing to do is nothing and just let it wear off. Either way, please go back and let them know why you are displeased.
How to heal at home peel burn patch?
Ooops
Oct 25, 2015
Over treating the skin can be a common problem with many of the products available. I would suggest aquaphor healing ointment applied twice a day followed by sunscreen every two hours while the sun is out.If you allow the skin to get dry or the area to be exposed to sun, it may leave a scar. I would put all the products to the side until completely healed and clearly read the recommended usage instructions before using them again.
I have a gummy smile. How long do I need to notice any change?
10 days for full effect of botox
Oct 8, 2015
Hi. I tell all my patients it takes 10 days to get the full effect of botox. If you need more, wait until after the 10th day for a touch up.
