Doctors
Patients also come to his fully accredited, state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, the EpiCentre Skin Care and Laser Center, for nonsurgical cosmetic treatments ranging from dermal fillers, Botox, and Kybella to laser skin resurfacing, and microneedling.
Dr. Armijo’s ultimate goal is to help his patients find hope, self-confidence, and a sense of well-being during what may be a challenging time in their lives. At a young age, Dr. Armijo became acutely aware of how surgery not only heals a person’s body, but also improves their lives on an emotional level by helping them to feel like their best selves. Having family members who are breast cancer survivors has helped Dr. Armijo to understand at a visceral level just how powerful an impact reconstructive surgery can have on a patient’s life.
After earning his Bachelor’s degree in human nutrition from Arizona State University and his medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Armijo decided to undergo training to become a reconstructive breast surgeon.
He completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Ohio. He then completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. There, he also served as an assistant instructor.
Dr. Armijo is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Dallas Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
