Brazilian butt lift for beautiful buttocks

The most important goal is to make sure that the contouring results fit your body. A Brazilian butt lift is an extremely effective way to contour the abdomen and butt.

We perform thorough liposuction through the abdomen hips waist lower back and posterior thighs. The fat that is collected is then cleaned and processed and strategically grafted to the butt region.

This creates a full and natural looking butt that will last your lifetime. The final size of your butt depends on the amount of tissue that we transfer to this area.

Your best bet is to only work with a plastic surgeon board-certified by the American Board of plastic surgery who has a great deal of experience with this procedure.

During the initial consultation, we review with the patient their options and use digital photography as well as computer morphing software to give them an idea of what they could look like. Please take a look at the photos we have posted on this site to get an idea of this type of body contouring surgery.

The Brazilian Butt Lift has the potential of building a beautiful buttocks and hip region, sometimes like Kim Kardashian’s or Beyonce’s. This however is dependant on if you have the fat to transfer and the structure to support it. As far as how long the results will last. I have performed this procedure for about 12 years now and have seen some of my patients more than 10 years after this surgery still looking the same as they did a couple of months after the surgery was completed, and still very happy. If you lose weight after the procedure, your buttocks will likely shrink. I always recommend that you be at the weight where you are happiest when you undergo this surgery or just about any plastic surgery. (Daniel P. Markmann, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

A Brazilian Butt Lift consists of the liposuction shaping of the areas around the buttocks and the selective transfer of your fat into the buttocks to selectively shape and augment your present buttocks into larger, more attractive buttocks. As the only Plastic surgeon in Memphis, TN performing Brazilian Butt Lift surgery it has been my experience that in many cases such as yours, narrowing the waist, removing fat deposits from the lower back and uncovering the V zone (see link below) just superior to the upper border of the buttock hemispheres is 50% of a Brazilian Butt Lift. Even in thin women with a great figure such as yours, a significant transformation may be brought about by an experienced board-certified Plastic surgeon.

One can work with your body, the distribution of fat and the way it is built. If you have enough fat to transfer to the buttock and hips then you can achieve what your body can relate. You have ro be realistic regarding your results, otherwise you will be very disappointed and fall into the trap of one surgery after another. (Samir Shureih, MD, Baltimore Plastic Surgeon)

Fat is the key to the brazilian butt lift success

buttock augmentation hydrogel (polyacrylamide or PMMA) injectionsIf you have enough fat, you can have any butt you want, but if you are lean and have no fat deposits, your possibilities for a Brazilian butt lift may be somewhat restricted. You do not necessarily need to be huge, but some healthy fat deposits that you can spare will greatly aide in shaping your buttocks. Don’t forget that it is not only about fat tarnsfer, but it is also importnat to mould the tissues surrounding your buttcks, i.e. giving your flanks and your infraglutealfolds etc more and better definition. (Alexander Aslani, MD, Spain Plastic Surgeon)

I would strongly advise against the use of massive injectable non-autogenous materials (that is a mouthful) for buttock augmentation. There seems to be a surge in popularity of hydrogel (polyacrylamide or PMMA) injections. This product is not currently available in the USA. The long term effects fo these large quantities of material are unknown.

In the USA, there are essentially three techniques for achieving buttock enlargment:

Buttock implants: even in the hands of experienced surgeons, complication rates of 30% have been reported. Apparently, this is due to the somewhat firm consistency of the implants. Rates are reportedly lower with softer implants currently utilized in South America buit not yet available here

Autologous lipoinjection: fat is obtained from other areas of the body, processed, purified, and then injected into the buttocks.

Autogenous tissue transfer: redundant tissue following massive weight loss which would typically be excised during a buttock and thigh lift is preserved and folded upon itself and used to achieve increase buttock size.

Brazilian Butt Lift surgery can narrow the waist and remove fat deposits Implants will maintain there size and shape following weight loss but may become more visible and vulnerable to exposure and extrusion. Autologous/Autogenous adipose (fatty) tissues may lose volume with weight loss.

You seem very lean and there needs to be tissue to take from in order to transfer it. Today buttock implants in the US are not FDA approved and have a higher incidence of contracture than those available in other countries. Soon they will be and until then I discourage the use of any “other” materials that some are injecting and also the implants that are being placed today.
