Brazilian butt lift in Toronto is a plastic surgery, that allowing to improve the size and shape of the buttocks by setting specific implants (silicone implants).
After this surgery buttocks become more elastic, feminine and, if necessary, large in volume.
Medical reason for brazilian bum lift
Usually Toronto gluteal augmentation is required in cases where attempts to increase the gluteal muscles with special exercises and nutrition do not bring results.
The most frequent indications for buttocks lift surgery:
1. Congenital or traumatic defects, asymmetry in the buttocks;
2. Age-related changes: atrophy of the gluteal muscles, loss of elasticity, shape and / or sagging skin;
3. The excess subcutaneous fat.
Types of buttocks augmentation
Depending on the implant location, there are three kinds of brazilian bum lift:
1. with the installation of the prosthesis under the gluteus maximus – the optimum solution for the placement of round implants, the amount of which does not exceed 200 ml;
2. with the installation of the implant under the muscle fascia – with significant atrophy of the gluteal muscles;
3. with the location of the implant between the large and medium gluteal muscles – technically difficult but reliable type of surgery, which is done only by the most qualified surgeons.
Several less bottom lift held without installing prostheses with excision of excess skin and / or removal of excess subcutaneous fat
Types of implants
To correct the shape and size of the buttocks, the two types of prostheses are used:
- round, improving the roundness of the buttocks, but in some cases, creating unnatural contours when driving;
- oval (teardrop-shaped, anatomical), providing the greatest naturalness of the gluteal region.
The design of gluteal implants presented a dense shell elastomer, which fills the cohesive silicone gel-type (with cross-linked fibers). Buttock implants differ not only in form, but also the size: the most popular model, the volume of which is 140 – 180 ml.
The surface of the implants can be either smooth or textured (porous). The latter type of prostheses is more durable.
Preparation for surgery
At the preparatory stage is performed:
- preoperative examination: chest X-rays, ECG, laboratory examination;
- consult a plastic surgeon, a general practitioner and anesthetist;
- choice of gluteal implants, taking into account the desired result, the existing volume and the structural features of the patient’s buttocks.
It is forbidden to take NSAIDs for 10 days prior to the Toronto buttock enhancement, anticoagulants (drugs which impair blood clotting), you need abandon alcohol and cigarettes (alcohol and nicotine makes blood more fluid that provokes the formation of postoperative hematoma).
On the day on which the scheduled surgery, you should refrain from eating and drinking.
Necessary tests
- General blood and urine tests;
- Biochemical analysis of blood;
- Assay for HIV and hepatitis B (HBsAg);
- The timing of the blood clotting (a coagulogram).
How is the bottom lift
Brazilian butt lift in Toronto, Canada performed under general anesthesia or, more rarely, under a local (spinal) anesthesia.
The surgeon marks the the surgical site and then makes into natural gluteal crease near the sacrum, a small incision (about 5 cm) with a scalpel, through which, in accordance with the selected kind of plastic (axillary, fascial or intramuscular) forms box for the prosthesis, and then introduces Silicone implant. Fixed prosthesis should not go beyond the boundaries of the gluteal muscles.
After the introduction and fixation of the implant, the surgeon places a cosmetic seam at the subcutaneous tissue and skin and installs drainage. For suturing the incision, used a special suture material that dissolves by yourself within 7-10 days.
On postoperative wound is applied a tight pressure bandage. The duration of surgery is 1.5-2 hours.
The postoperative period
The brazilian buttock lift recovery lasts 1-1.5 months, of which the first 1-2 days the patient spends in the hospital.
For some time after the surgery the pain is felt when walking and burning, which are fully pass after healing of the incision site.
After the brazilian butt lift is recommended:
- For 2-3 days abandon the shower;
- During the week, do not lie on your back and do not sit down, so as not to provoke a rupture of the endoprosthesis: Resting best on your side or stomach;
- For 5 weeks limit the exercise, give up the swimming pool, sauna, sports activities;
- For 2-3 months to use compression underwear (leggings or shorts);
- To shorten the recovery period is necessary to stop smoking;
In the appointment of intramuscular injections, you need to warn physicians about the presence of the prosthesis, and not make injections in the buttocks in any case (if necessary, introduce drugs into thigh muscle).
As a result of brazillian buttlift, you get the perfect shape buttocks without grueling workouts in the gym and wearing special clothes, and the only reminder of the transferred operation will be barely noticeable seam under the coccyx, naturally continuing between the gluteal fold.
